Warm Root · Ginger & Jujube Morning Blend
The classic jiāng zǎo chá cut: sliced ginger and split red dates, ready to simmer
Everyday Ritual
Deep-roast whole barley for the everyday pot — dàmài chá, mugicha, boricha
Whole barley roasted to deep chestnut for the drink three countries pour daily: China's dàmài chá, Japan's mugicha, Korea's boricha. One ingredient, roasted in small batches, packed in pitcher-sized sachets. Simmer it warm for winter meals or cold-brew a fridge pitcher in summer — nothing in the cup to argue with: no caffeine, no sugar, no botanicals.
Hot: simmer one sachet in 1 L water for 5–8 minutes. Cold: drop a sachet into 1 L fridge water for 2–3 hours, then remove. Keeps two days refrigerated. Caffeine-free at any strength.
Barley is a gluten grain, and trace gluten can carry into the infusion — not suitable for celiac disease or strict gluten-free protocols unless your clinician clears it. Otherwise the usual note applies: if pregnant, on medication or managing a condition, ask a professional before adopting any daily herbal drink.
