Cooling Floral
Whole Tongxiang chrysanthemum flowers with Ningxia goji — the balanced classic
Whole Hangbaiju chrysanthemum flowers from Tongxiang, Zhejiang, paired with Ningxia goji berries in the proportion Chinese households have used for generations: a cooling-classified flower balanced by a warm-classified berry. Flowers are unfumigated, dried whole, and brew a pale honey-gold cup you can watch open in glass.
4–5 flowers and a pinch of goji per 300 ml at 85–90°C, 3–4 minutes. Good for two to three infusions — the second is often the best. Chill double-strength brew for summer. Caffeine-free.
Chrysanthemum is in the Asteraceae (daisy/ragweed) family: if you have ragweed, daisy or chamomile allergies, check with an allergist before drinking. If pregnant, breastfeeding, on medication or managing a condition, ask a qualified professional before regular use. A beverage for enjoyment, not a treatment.
